  • Condition: Excellent condition w/ new blade. Taken apart, filed aluminum casting joints on handle and knob,sanded up through 600 grit and then polished. The steel flexible blade and screws were sanded and polished as well. It has a Art Deco vibe to it. Takes 14 inch and 12 inch flat and round blades.

    Description

    Vintage Polished Aluminum Proto 1509 Flexible Body File  14 inch. This can also use the 12 inch. Comes with a new blade. Taken apart and the casting lines were filed,sanded from 80 grit to 600 grit, then the aluminum handle,knob,screws,turnbuckle and left and right threads were polished on industrial equipment. Scotchbrite wheel used on flexible steel base plate and then polished as well.Very smooth turning action with no binding. With it being highly polished it has a Art Deco vibe to it.This is a functional tool in excellent condition and beautiful as well. You will be pleased with this tool. It is made to last a lifetime.
