Vintage Ice Fishing, Spearing Decoy, 1950's.

Description

Here we have a wonderful vintage Northern Pike fish decoy, or spearing decoy, out of Minnesota.
Circa 1950's.  The Fish is 5 3/4" long, and painted a light green over her back and
sides and a yellow belly.  Dark green dots applied across the green field, as abstracted scales.
The cut and painted fins are firmly set into the wooden sides of the Fish, as is wire line tie.  This is a hand made Fish, all original and intact, and having a patina appropriate to its age and history.
