    Description

I am unsure how old this sax is. My guess would be 1950s or 1960s. On the back it is stamped with the serial number 6 535 and says, "made in France". I am unsure as to what French maker made this sax. The neck brace looks similar to some Noblet saxophones that I've seen though. To me, It does feels like a pro horn with it's heavier brass and lacquered key work, not nickel plated like student saxes. I did test play it and was able to play it throughout it's range even though I haven't played in years and I will therefore assume it will need some adjusting, etc. Most of the pads are the older red ones that I have seen on other older French saxophones and they still look serviceable. The lacquer is mostly there and has some wear in some spots, on the keys and some areas that look oxidized, like the inner edge of the bell. Overall, still decent looking. I do not see any obvious dents or signs of previous damage or resoldering on the body of the sax either. The hardshell case is in good shape and there is a Babbitt mouthpiece in there as well. There is no international shipping. Lower 48 states only.
