    Description

    Built to last, American made in Wisconsin, Vintage 1983 Trek 620 Touring bicycle, in great condition. Taupe w/Gold flakes color with Dark Brown panel and head tube on a 22.5in (seattube t-c) frame. Reynolds 531 Double-Butted Manganese Molybdenum steel tubing with; Manganese alloy forks and stays, Tange 1124 fully sloping fork crown, Nikko lugs, and Suntour GS forged dropouts w/ adjusters. Gents model, 18-speed touring bike. As this bike is essentially 38 years old, all original wear and tear items have been replaced. Examples would be all bearings, retainer rings, and grease points on the hubs, bottom bracket, and headset.
    It has original matching front and rear 27” 16-22 polished-alloy wheels with polished-alloy lo-flange Atom S.F. Helicomatic QR hubs w/original Atom Spidel skewers. It has Specialized Touring II 27x1-1/4” tan-walled tires with brand new EVO 700x28-32mm threaded 48mm presta tubes and Kenda rim strips with gold anodized presta caps.
    Original Sakae Custom Road Champion handlebar with brand new Fizik Tempo Classic 2mm Microtex yellow bar tape. Original SR Custom alloy stem with original chrome Tange Levin headset. Original DIA COMPE 500G side-pull brake calipers w/QR with original DIA COMPE drilled brake levers and brand new DIA COMPE gum brake hoods. I installed black Jagwire CGX-SL brake housings with slick-stainless brake cables. It has the original Sugino “AT” Aero Mighty Tour forged alloy 50-45-28 triple 170mm crankset with original Sugino dust caps. Complete original Sugino bottom bracket assembly with Trek cable guide. Pedals are great condition original SR SP-150 9/16” threaded polished alloy quill pedals w/ Christophe polished-alloy toe clips (size L) and black leather Christophe pedal straps.
    Original good condition black Avocet Touring-WI “Wide” Saddle . The seatpost is the original light alloy polished SR P5 LaPrade fluted micro-adjustable seatpost and it has the original Sugino seat binder bolt.
    Original Sedisport narrow-pitched 1/2”x3/32” chain with original 6-speed Atom Helicomatic 13-14-17-20-24-28T freewheel. The front derailleur is the original Suntour Cyclone MK-II in great condition. The rear derailleur is the original Suntour Cyclone MK-II long cage with brand new Jagwire slick-stainless steel cables and original Suntour steel-braided shift cable housings. Shift levers are the original bar-end mounted Suntour alloy Bar-Con shifters.
    The bike runs well in the traditional friction style as all cables/housings were just replaced, hubs have been overhauled, and the chain has been ran thru the cleaner three times and re-lubed. The paint is 9/10 and decals are probably a 9/10 as far as condition goes, that's just my honest opinion. There are no dings on the frame or forks, it has been well taken care of. I’m very meticulous with the care of my bikes and it shows.
    Accessories original to this bike; Jim Blackburn polished rear rack, Jim Blackburn polished water bottle cage, Cateye Mount/Reflectors, and “620” chain-stay guard.Also includes; a brand new unused Trek Voda Heritage water bottle and new set of chrome water bottle cage bolts.
