    Salesman Note:
    A Clear-Coat is
    Required
for the correct gloss, sheen, and Exterior Durability. It is
    Highly
    Recommended
that you use the clear-coat included in the kit for ultra U.V. durability and
    gasoline resistance.
If you have exposed bare metal you will need the kit that includes the Epoxy Primer. Primer will be required prior to applying the color coat if you have exposed bare metal. Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours before applying sandable primer (if required) or the color coat.
If you have exposed body filler or minor imperfections such as scratches, scrapes, and scuff marks, use SprayMax 3680031 Rapid Primer Filler for a sandable surface. Once cured over night,
wet or dry sand the surface using 600-800 grit before applying the color coat.
    Surface Prep:
Wash thoroughly with soap and hot water. Clean using SprayMax 3680094 Wax & Grease Remover or equivalent.
Sand using 400-600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Re-Clean using SprayMax 3680094 Wax & Grease Remover or equivalent.
Shake can for at least 1 minute after the can begins to rattle. Continue to shake occasionally during spray application.
Hold container approximately 8-10 inches from surface being sprayed. Apply 2-3 coats or until color coverage is acheived. (Note: Some colors may require more coats.)
Slightly Overlap each pass for uniform coverage. Use the red tip for fine atomization, or the wide fan for quicker coverage on larger areas.
Allow 5-10 minutes dry time between each coat before spraying the next coat. After color coverage is achieved allow the last coat to dry a minimum of 1 hour but not longer than 16 hours before applying a clear coat.
    Clean Up:
After each use, invert can and spray for four seconds to clear and clean the valve. If button becomes clogged, pull off and clean with solvent.
    DO NOT
stick pins or wire into can opening.
    Tri-Coat Applications:
To achieve an optimum color match, spray 3 test panels with the base-coat until complete color coverage is achieved. Next spray 1 test panel with 1 coat of mid-coat, the second test panel with 2 coats of mid-coat and the third test panel with 3 coats of mid-coat.
Clear-Coat all 3 test panels and check the color match once the clear-coat has fully dried.
Duplicate the same technique on your vehicle that coordinates with the test panel that best matches your vehicle.
