The main body of the K1 RS1 Kart Race Glove is a soft, Black, abrasion resistant fabric. Vibrant Pink stitching adds just enough color and style.
Slide your hand past the elastic wrist gauntlet and the RS1 forms almost perfectly to your hand. The gauntlet is wide enough to neatly cover the sleeve cuff of your race suit or jacket. The elasticized wrist forms a secure closure. Squeeze your fingers, as if holding a steering wheel, minimal to no bunching forms in the palm. A vented mesh material is sewn on each side of the fingers and you can feel the cooler air enter. No stitching seams can be felt on the fingers because they are reversed to the exterior. Next, you will notice the padded palm and back of the glove, just a little more added protection. Finally, leather patches are strategically placed for the grip and K1 knows about kart racing as they rolled the grip material across the majority of the thumbs.
Auto racers please note, there are NO fire retardant materials or properties in karting gloves. For kart racing competition only. Kart Racing Gloves are designed to enhance grip and protect from abrasions.
