Extra Sharp Pogliaghi Bicycle - 56cm - Serial #11427

Description

Sante' Pogliaghi was considered to be a master craftsman and important frame builder much esteemed in his time.  This bike was built toward the end of the period when he was personally involved in frame construction.  There has always been controversy as to how many frames the shop built each year.  Allegedly, Pogliaghi claimed many more than were actually built for promotional reasons.  I'll let you determine if that was a good thing or not, but nonetheless, during this period all his bikes are considered to be classics.
Both seat tube and top tube are 56cm c-c.
