    Description

Hide this tiny beeper and drive those around you mad!  For best results, conceal two or more in the same room.  Randomly beeps after a one to ten minute delay.  Much like the low smoke detector battery signal when you are trying to fall sleep; just more random.
    Four different models are available:
Basic - Uses a speaker with a fixed tone of ~2.5 kHz.  It sounds after a random delay.  Includes CR2032 battery.
Measures just 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.5 inches & weighs 0.5 ounces.  Suitable for normal household and office environments.
Random Tone - Uses a different speaker that beeps at a random tone (including high, low, medium pitches) after a random delay.  Note that some tones are not as loud as others.  Includes CR2032 battery.
    Measures just 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.5 inches & weighs 0.5 ounces.
Suitable for normal household and office environments.
Super Loud - This version runs on a 9 volt battery (not included) and has extra electronic circuitry to drive a larger speaker at much louder volumes.
    With battery attached, it measures 2.4 x 2.2 x 1.0 inch & weights 2.3 ounces.
This model is loud enough that I partially cover the speaker to muffle it during testing so my ears don't ring.  Like the other models, it beeps after a random 1 to 10 minute delay.
    Cricket - I
nstead of beeping, this emulates a cricket sound after a random delay. Includes a slightly larger speaker than the Basic and Random Tone design and measures about 2.4 x 1.1 x 0.6 inches. Please visit youtube and search for “Electronic Cricket Prank” to watch a demo video where you can hear the realistic cricket chirps created by this item.
Power: All models last for over a month on a fresh battery.
Mounting: Each model includes double-sided tape on the back for mounting to smooth surfaces.  Be sure to mount it to a surface that does not conduct electricity so the solder joints on the rear side of the circuit board do not short together.
Power On: Slide switch #2 up to power on the beeper or slide it down to turn it off.
"Stealth" Mode: Activated by switch #1, stealth mode allows you to set an approximate time delay until the
    next
beep/chirp occurs.  Subsequent chirps then occur on the normal 1 to 10 minutes schedule.  For example, you can hide it in your boss's office and leave on vacation.  Then when it starts beeping the next day, you aren't around to be blamed.  Time delay can be set in 2 hour increments up to 48 hours.
Construction: I designed the circuit board, wrote the software, and perform the final hand-assembly and testing at my home in Ohio.
Shipping: Shipping rates are calculated by eBay based on a 1 oz. USPS 1st class package to your location. I do not add any handling fees.  Note that if you order 2 or more different models, Ebay adds a separate shipping charge for each model.  In this case, I automatically refund the second shipping charge.
