1984 FAT CHANCE s/n 8416
Headset Original & no problems
Bottom Bracket Original and no problems
Cantilever Brakes Original and working (new cables & new pads)
Shimano XC Front derailleur is included but has broken lever arm (not working not attached)
Shimano Shifters original
Magura Levers w/ rubber hoods
Frame has original paint with wear showing in places where cables have rubbed thru
a paint blister on seat tube
bosses for two water bottles and carry strap for shoulder
Blackburn rack (original to bike)
decals original
Modifications from original:
original Box Fork replaced in 1988 with generic chrome fork (some rust pitting showing in chrome)
original "bullmoose" bars replaced
Shimano SIS rear derailleur (replaced original Shimano XC)
original wheels replaced with Saturne 26x1.5 rims and shimano hubs, wheels are true and hubs are in good condition
original avocet seat & mountain bike type seatpost replaced with standard 27.6 seatpost
bike mostly ridden on road as commuter / town bike
