    Description

Last year an old racing buddy from 40+ years ago contacted me about this 1959 Cinelli model B.   It was in rough shape and he didn't have the energy to restore it, and he knew I liked these.  In fact I have a nearly identical one a couple years newer.  So I took it off his hands and you can see the results.  Expert paint and chrome by Franklin Frame in Ohio.  Everything else by me.  Original brass frame and stem badges.   I replaced a few parts with nicer versions of the originals, like the 151 cranks for instance. Original Gran Sport derailleur, and cable-stop style front derailleur.    The original hubs, dated 1959, were too scarred up and corroded, so I used better ones. Rims are Rigida 13-19 clinchers, freshly built.  If you prefer, I can substitute some equally nice sewup wheels with new Veloflex Roubaix tires. That will take a few extra days. I used a better saddle and seat post too. Original Universal Extra brakes are paired with Weinmann levers, for great braking.  Fenders are reproductions from Grand Bois, made by Honjo, painted to match.  New Silca flat top pump painted to match also, with Campagnolo end. The color is the original color.  The frame had remnants of it inside the head tube and BB.  I used House of Kolors green as it is very close to original, and very lustrous.  Size is 58 cm to the top, with 57 top tube. Fits someone around 5'10" to 6'1".   I'd keep the bike but I already have 100+ bikes to ride.   This is a totally ridable 62-year old bike.  You will be the envy of your riding buddies showing up on Sunday morning with this.  There may not be a nicer one on the planet.  You can see more pics here on my flickr page
Apparently ebay frowns on adding links to a listing now, but if you look in flickr under my albums, bobbiker, you will find it down the page a ways.
Price includes expert packing with foam wrap etc.  Shipping will be actual cost through Bikeflights including insurance for full value.  I just put an estimated amount in the listing.   Wait until I send you an invoice to pay.   Please ask any questions before bidding.
